Following its launch at Mipcom three months ago, Kids First Distribution has inked a raft of deals with international broadcasters for its 52 x eleven-minute animated series Nate is Late, commissioned by France Télévisions (France), Super RTL (Germany) and Channel 9 (Australia).
Sony Pictures Television Networks has snapped up Nate is Late for its free-to-air Pop channel in UK and in Italy. Discovery Kids has picked up the animated series produced by WATCH NEXT MEDIA to air in Middle-East and North Africa. SVT in Sweden, Channel 8 in Israel, TVB in Hong Kong and VRT in Belgium have also secured Free TV and VOD rights.
On behalf of NORMAAL, KIDS FIRST has signed a number of free terrestrial broadcasters for the upcoming 52 x eleven-minute animated series Barbapapa, including RAI (Italy), RTBF (Belgium) and YLE (Finland).
KIDS FIRST has sold Ella, Oscar & Hoo to Discovery Kids for Middle-East and North Africa. In Asia, Chinese VOD distributor JY Ent and Hong Kong-based free to air channel TVB have both acquire the preschool series.

The initial slate includes six brand new animation series set for 2018-2019 deliveries, comedies Nate is Late, Max & Maestro, Best Bugs, I Elvis Riboldi, and Rocky Kwaterner along action series MarbleGen.
